Overview
The route begins in Feira do Gado, in Santa parish, Porto Moniz, and follows in the opposite direction of the water.
This is a walk that takes place mostly within Madeira’s native Laurissilva Forest.
It was originally built by the farmers and used to feed the various mills that exist here.
We will take you to the source of the levada to enjoy a beautiful waterfall found there.
