This is a great tour to explore Munich’s beer culture, as well as being a nice introduction to the city’s old town also.
While alcohol is offered throughout the tour, each beverage can be replaced by a non-alcoholic option when desired.
This tour ends just before dinner time, so consider this tour a terrific way to find out where best to eat.

A walking tour for the international beer connoisseur along with those curious about the world of Bavarian beers. Join us for a leisurely stroll through one of the most important beer cities in the world as we visit some of the best pubs in Munich and taste their finest beers.
Bavaria, Southern Germany, with the highest per capita consumption of beer in the world is unique placed to offer you not only a flavourful experience, but an interesting one also. Learn about why the Munich Helles, their unique formulation of light coloured lager is so eagerly consumed alongside radishes. Hear about the history of beer right through Munich’s beginnings from the Celts, the monks, through kings, beer barons, Oktoberfest & up to today.
Begin your tour with us at our shop with a greeting beer as we introduce the city and modern beer drinking culture. We’ll bring you through one of the city’s surviving medieval gates into the old town, where shortly after we’ll make our first stop at one of the world’s best beerhalls. Through the next few hours with your professional tourguide be entertained by both colourful stories as well as the Munich’s truly excellent brews.
